We are proud to announce that Green Vision Consultants L.L.C has won the Sustainability Initiative of the Year award at the Middle East Waste & Recycling Awards (MEWAR) 2026. The award recognises our work in helping projects across the UAE and the wider region reduce waste, increase recycling and build sustainability into the way buildings and communities are designed.
A proud night for the Green Vision team
Our team took to the stage at the MEWAR Awards 2026 ceremony to receive the trophy for Sustainability Initiative of the Year, alongside leading waste management, recycling and environmental organisations from across the Middle East. Standing on that stage together was a special moment for everyone at Green Vision, and a reflection of the hard work our designers, engineers and project managers put into every project.
This win follows our recent recognition as a Finalist at the Gulf Sustainability Awards 2026, and marks another milestone in our journey since the company was founded in 2020.
About the Middle East Waste & Recycling Awards
The Middle East Waste & Recycling Awards, organised by Waste & Recycling Middle East magazine, celebrate the organisations and individuals driving progress in waste management, recycling and the circular economy across the region. The Sustainability Initiative of the Year category honours initiatives that deliver real, measurable environmental impact and set an example for the industry.
What this sustainability award means to us
At Green Vision, sustainability is not an add-on. It is built into every design decision we make. This award reflects the approach that runs through all of our work:
- Designing out waste from the start – through waste strategies, waste flow planning and full technical design, our waste management design team helps developers and authorities reduce landfill and recover value from materials.
- Supporting a circular economy – we plan buildings and communities so that waste is separated, collected and recycled efficiently, keeping materials in use for longer.
- Driving greener buildings – our sustainability consultancy supports LEED, Estidama, Mostadam and Al Sa’fat certification, energy and carbon analysis and sustainability strategy.
- Protecting the environment – our environmental consultancy delivers EIA and ESIA studies, environmental management plans and permits.
Together, these services help our clients meet regulatory requirements, lower operating costs and contribute to the UAE’s wider sustainability and net-zero goals.
Proud sponsors of the MEWAR Awards 2026
Alongside our win, Green Vision Consultants was also proud to sponsor an award category at this year’s MEWAR Awards, celebrating fellow organisations that are making a difference in waste management and recycling across the region. Supporting the people and companies moving our industry forward is an important part of who we are.
