Scope: Design Review / Validation of IFT (Issued for Tender) Documents and Issue of Construction Documentation (IFC) for Wayfinding & Signage Scope.
Green Vision Consultants has teamed up with RMJM to conduct a detailed assessment of the Issued-for-Tender (IFT) package designed by others and provide value engineering items for Wayfinding & Signage discipline, followed by the production of Issued for Construction (IFC) documents while complying with the Client’s budgetary requirements. The design intent of the project has been retained throughout the value engineering exercise.
Located at the Western threshold of Al-Haram Mosque, the MASAR Project is a large-scale masterplan that will enhance both the visitor’s urban experience and pilgrim’s movement from mass transit nodes towards the holy site in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The project covers an area of approximately 1.2 million square meters and the Site of it has been divided into plots of varying sizes. Package A is located at the Gateway to Al-Haram Mosque, acting as the key hub that will connect the various public transport networks serving the district. With prominent views towards the cultural and spiritual heart of the city, the scheme includes two 5-star hotel buildings, one 4-star hotel building, a high-end residential tower and two retail buildings that will together set the architectural direction for the MASAR Project.
